Skip hire costs vary depending on the size of skip you require and the location upon which you intend to hire your skip. For example an 8 yard skip in Liverpool won’t necessarily cost the same as an 8 yard skip in Cambridge.

You can fill the skip level with the height of your skip, you must not over fill your skip! If you over fill the skip the skip provider will refuse to collect it because it’s unsafe to do so.

Generally speaking most skip hire companies provide 7 to 14 day skip hire terms however this is flexible and here at Network Skips via our online booking platform you can select your collection date.

If you plan to place your skip on a public road or pavement, you’ll need a skip permit issued by your local council. The permit ensures that your skip meets safety regulations and doesn’t obstruct traffic or pedestrians. It’s crucial to apply for a permit before arranging for your skip rental, as you will need this in place prior to delivery. A skip hire permit will usually take between 7 and 14 days to be granted.

The largest skip you can hire for a rubble or soil collection is a 6 yard skip, the reason for this is a larger skip carrying a dense load like soil or concrete would put the skip lorry over its maximum carrying capacity. For general mixed waste collections you don’t need to worry and as long as you fill the skip to a level load the weight will always be within its limits.

Yes you can. The largest skip you can use for a solid load of concrete or soil is a 6 yard skip that’s level loaded.

You will need a driveway that’s at least 2.9m wide. However, if you don’t have the space available, we can send a smaller skip lorry with special lifting equipment. If you require this or are unsure, please call our office and one of our friendly team will help guide you.

You can pay for your skip using your credit or debit card via our secure online booking platform.

Cancellations made at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled delivery will receive a full refund minus a 3% card transaction fee. Cancellations made less than 72 hours before delivery will incur a charge of 50% of the total hire fee. No refunds will be given once the skip has been delivered and accepted by the customer. Refunds will be processed within 3-5 business days of the cancelled order. You can reschedule your skip hire date any time free of charge.
