Please read our terms carefully before placing an order.

1. Introduction

This document outlines the terms and conditions applicable to all skip hire services provided by Network Skips Limited. By hiring a skip from Network Skips Limited you agree to comply with these terms.

2. Definitions

  • Customer or Hirer: The individual or entity hiring the skip.
  • Skip: The container used for waste disposal as provided by Network Skips Limited
  • Hire Period: The time duration for which the skip is rented, as agreed upon at the time of booking.

3. Booking and Payment

a. All bookings must be confirmed through our website or by telephone.
b. Payment must be received in full prior to the delivery of the skip.
c. Prices are subject to change, the price confirmed at the time of booking is the price that will be charged.

4. Delivery and Collection

a. The delivery and collection of skips will be made on a preferred date and time basis only
b. We cannot guarantee the date and time due to things out of our reasonable control.
c. The customer is responsible for ensuring adequate access for the delivery and collection vehicles.
d. The time allowed for loading and unloading the skip from the vehicle is 15 minutes. If the vehicle is kept waiting longer than this Network Skips Limited reserves the right to charge waiting time.
e. A skip permit must be obtained if you are wishing to place a skip on public highways or land. The skip permit must be in place before the skip is delivered and must be collected before the permit expires. Network Skips Limited can arrange skip permits at a cost of £150 + VAT
f. If the skip is located on the public highway reasonable precautions must be taken by the hirer to ensure that the skip does not cause an obstruction, is sufficiently lit up and coned off

5. Skip Usage

a. Customers must use the skip for its intended purpose only.
b. Skips must not be overloaded. Level loads are required to ensure safe transportation.
c. Prohibited items include hazardous waste such as asbestos, batteries, liquids, and electrical appliances unless specifically agreed upon. Please see waste restrictions for more information
d. No damage occurs to the skip, no flammable material is placed in the skip, 
no FIRES are lit in or near the skip.
e. The customer must ensure that the skip is not illegally placed on the public highway without the necessary permits.
f. In the event that hazardous or non permitted waste is identified after the collection of the skip then Network Skips Limited reserves the right to charge for the non-permitted or hazardous waste items found. The current charge incurred for such an event is set at £850 + VAT

6. Refund Policy

a. Cancellations made at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled delivery will receive a full refund minus a 3% card transaction fee
b. Cancellations made less than 72 hours before delivery will incur a charge of 50% of the total hire fee.
c. No refunds will be given once the skip has been delivered and accepted by the customer.
d. Refunds will be processed within 3-5 business days of the cancelled order
e. You can reschedule your skip hire date and time free of charge

7. Liability

a. Network Skips Limited shall not be liable for any loss or damages incurred to the hirer’s property or associated property during the hire period, except as required by law.
b. Customers are to ensure that their property is adequately protected from any potential damage caused by Heavy Goods Vehicles entering their property to unload a skip

8. Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

9. Amendments

Network Skips Limited reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions, Pricing and anything else at any time. Customers will be notified of any significant changes prior to their next hire.
